Pumpkin Bread

I made Pumpkin Bread for Christmas for my neighbors and David's Aunt and of course us!!!

Here is what you need:
3.5 cups flour
3 cups sugar
2 tsp baking soda
1.5 tsp salt
1.5 tsp cinnamon
1.5 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cloves
1 cup oil
4 eggs slightly beaten
2 small cans pumpkin
1 c raisins (optional)
1 c mince meat

Sift together the flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves
Mix the rest of the ingredients into another bowl then slowly add the flour mixture.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour

***this makes 3 loaves***
Here it is in the bowl all mixed up!

In the bread pans ready to go in the oven!

ALL DONE!!

  1. Those are cute pans. So you give them the present in the pan or do you keep it? I'm feeling like a real slacker for just dumping it in plastic bags when I give it as a present.

  2. I give them the pan with bread in it!! They loved it!! The pans were only $2.50 and it doesn't cost much to make pumpkin bread!
